| Mar 2010 | Nomination for Queen's Birthday Hornour Started Now more nominations from the British Chinese community are welcomed for the Queen's Birthday Honours in June this year. Anyone can suggest a person, regardless of age or background, they feel has made a valuable contribution to their community and wider society. | Dec 2009 | Annual School Show
The school held its annual Award Ceremony and School Show on 6th Dec 2009. Students were confident to show their achievements in Chinese learning though various forms of performance including singing, tongue-twister, comedy and martial arts, which greatly impressed all guests and parents. |
| June 2009 | School Advisory Board established
The Board is charied by Dr Yanzhong Xu (Shizhen Group), Professor Hong Liu (the University of Manchester) and Mr Sudip Chatterjee (Manchester City Council) are the members. |
| June 2009 | 2009 School Annual General Meeting
School 2009 AGM was held on 14th June at which annual report was presented to all members. |
| May 2009 | 4th School Magazine
- "My 2008" - was published in May 2009. |
| February 2009 | 2009 Chinese New Year Celebration
The school dance team and volunteer teachers participated in the 2009 Manchester Chinese New Year Celebration. The girls impressed the audience with their beautiful Chinese dances. And the traditional paper cutting and paper folding demonstrated by the volunteers added much fun to the scene. |
| December 2008 | Annual Award Ceremony (2008)
The school held its annual Award Ceremony on 6th December 2008. Students confidently showed their achievements in Chinese learning through their excellent performances. After the ceremony, students and their parents made donations to help reconstruct a primary school in Sichuan Province which was struck in the earth-quake. |

| December 2007 | The School's 2007 show and award ceremony
was held on Sunday 9th Dec.2007. Officers from Chinese Consulate General and Manchester City Council attended the ceremony and gave awards to pupils. All children took part in the performance and everyone enjoyed it. |
| September 2007 | School library service
The School library service started in September 2007. The service is free to all pupils studying at our school. See School Library for full details. |

| June 2006 | Standard Quality Certificate
The School was awarded Standard Quality Certificate for supplementary schools by Manchester City Council. Only 2 in nearly 50 supplementary schools in Great Manchester area were awarded this important certificate. |
| June 2006 | CCTV's Chinese writing competition
Nearly 40 children participated the competition and 9 of them won prizes incluiding 1st prize. Well done, children! |
| November 2005 | Huaxia has been awarded the "Best Organiser" prize in CSSA-UK's 2nd Chinese
Culture&Knowledge Competition and the "Best Group Winners" prize in 1st Calligraphy&Painting Competition.
